[TAG] The Reading Habits

1. Do you have a certain place for reading at home?
Not really, but I try and read in a quiet place because I hate noise when reading.

2. Bookmark or random piece of paper?
Anything I can find! The important thing is is that I don't loose the page!

3. Can you just stop reading or do you have to stop after a chapter or a certain number of pages?
It depends, if I'm in a rush then I'll stop at the end of a page but if I still have 5 mins I will try to read till the end of the chapter.

4. Do you eat or drink when reading?
Not really... I will usually stop reading if I'm really hungry.

5. Do you watch TV or listen to music whilst reading?
No! Never. Unfortunately I can't multitask and so I can't even read when there's noise:(

6. One book at a time or several at once?
Usually several at once. That's because when I'm reading a book I'll usually find another book to read!

7. Reading at home or everywhere?
At home is the best. But if I'm bored somewhere else and I have a book, I will take out my book and read.

8. Reading out loud or silently in your head?
Silently of course!

9. Do you ever read ahead or skip pages?
Yes... That usually happens when I enjoy the book so much that I can't wait to see what happens next and so I read small bits of the next pages... And I almost always read the last page when I start reading a book!

10. Breaking the spine or keeping it new?
I don't actually know... I guess breaking the spine?

11. Do you write in your books?
Yes, ever since I was little I was always writing stories. I remember I got a mini laptop for my 10th birthday and I took it around with me everywhere because I was constantly writing a book on microsoft word... And still now, I constantly have new ideas and new stories in my head and I start writing a book about them but I never finish. Recently I've actually started writing movies...

12. What are you currently reading?
I just finished 'Paper Towns' by John Green and so right now I'm reading 'The God Delusion' by Richard Dawkins.

Thanks for reading! :)

[LOOK] Red, Bold & Sexy

Red, Bold & Sexy Makeup Look

Today is my birthday and I wanted to have a little play around with makeup. I used my new red lipstick which I bought yesterday and added some cat eyes. I think red lips and cat eyes look perfect together!

I made a braid the night before and so that's why it looks so good. Messy isn't always bad, I love the messy hair look!

It took a long time doing the eyeliner, trust me. But it's worth it right? I think it looks good!

I looove this lipstick. So classy and sexy.

Makeup used:

-Natural Collection Due Eyeshadow in Mocha/Latte
-Miss Sporty Cat's Eyes Liner in Black
-Rimmel London Extreme Black Volume Mascara Flash X 10
-Bourjois Paris Eye Pencil in Gris Ingenieux
-EOS Lipbalm in Mint
-Maybelline ColourSensational Lipstick in Pleasure Me Red
-EcoTools Angled Eyeliner Brush (used for eyebrows)
-EcoTools Concealer Brush (used for eyeshadow)

[EXPERIENCE] Nose Piercing

I got my nose pierced on the 14th of June, 2014. I always wanted to get my nose pierced, every since I was really young. I always thought they looked really cool and so I wanted one! I finally decided to go after I finished my GCSE exams (like literally, I finished on Friday and went on Saturday).
I was super excited but nervous. I read online that the pain level is really low, that the nose piercing is the one that hurts the less. But I haven't gotten any other piercing done apart from my ears before this so I didn't know what to expect. So I searched for the most popular piercing place in my area because I wanted a really professional piercer. I payed £20 in total (including the stud).

For me, it really hurt. Like a lot. But obviously this was my first facial piercing so I didn't know what to expect. She put the needle in, and after put in the stud which hurt the most probably because it was one that had the twisted end. I would give it a 4 out of 10. Mine bled a lot. It all depends on the person, and the lady said that some people bleed a lot and unfortunately I was one of them. I thought something was wrong, because it kept bleeding and bleeding. But somehow after 5 minutes of holding a tissue over the piercing, it stopped. I payed, and woila!

I had to leave the piercing in for 6 weeks so that my skin gets used to the hole and the stud. She said I have to clean it everyday with hot water and a teaspoon of salt. Honestly I didn't do that everyday, I did it maybe once a week or so (don't follow my footsteps, do as she tells you to, seriously). I didn't have any infections or anything like that, so thank god for that (even though I'm atheist, haha).

If you're scared to get it done because you have problems with your skin, such as that you can only wear real gold or real silver otherwise it gets all pussy and disgusting, don't worry about it. I was scared because I too have this problem and I can't wear earrings, and when I do they have to be gold or silver. I emailed them and they said they use a special type of metal so I shouldn't worry about it. My recommendation would be to email them so you know exactly, because if they use some fake silver, you're screwed. And you've just wasted £20 or even more.

Thanks a lot for reading, and good luck with your nose piercings!

Best Friends ♥

One of the most important things in life, are friendships. Finding someone that will advise you on which colour to dye your hair, make you laugh when you are sad, talk with you about the most inappropriate things and it won't be awkward, just ... is there, is so special in life. When you get that in life, this special gift, don't loose it. Don't take it for granted or feel that they will be there forever even if you are mean to them, because they won't.

I can't describe to you how happy I am when I am with my friends. Something about it... maybe the fact that everyone is laughing, smiling, telling jokes... that's what makes me so happy. It's like my life is just complete and I don't want anything else.

I have 3 best friends (two of what I've literally had since birth). I am very unfortunate because two of my best friends live far away from me. One even lives in a different country. But I guess when I do see them, I spend the most time with them as I can. And I really appreciate this time because I only get to see them once a year :(

Spend as much time with your best friends, because maybe one day you won't have that opportunity. Meet all of your friends together, have a bbq, go to the beach or even just hang out, and ... just live & be happy... ♥

Start of Sixth Form ♥

So I have finished my GCSE examinations, and now what? The long summer and then, the exciting and nerve-wrecking start of sixth form!
I am so nervous about starting sixth form, mainly because it'll be a completely higher level of education but also new teachers, students, subjects... At the same time I am super super excited! I will be able to meet new people (hopefully new people will come to my school's sixth form) and I'll be able to study subjects which I've wanted to study for a really long time, and only those subjects!

I know that I need to be a better person from the 3rd of Sept '14. I am going to really focus on studying and really focus on things that are going to help my future. I mean, I chose these subjects because I hope they will help my future! I chose the subjects that I enjoy the most and hopefully will want to have a career in.
But I'm thinking of changing my choices. I chose: Graphic Design, Photography and Media Studies. But I think I want to change the Graphic Design option to something like maybe Art or Textiles. But I'm not quite sure yet because Graphic Design sounds v. v. interesting, but I'm more interested in Textiles and sewing and crafting, that type of thing! I guess we'll just see what happens.

I will do a blog post at the end of September to keep ya'll updated on how my start to sixth form turned out!
Let me know if you're excited or nervous for the start sixth form or the start of a new school year in the comments below! Thanks for reading :)
