Travelling ♥

Hello ♥

I love travelling. It's one of my favourite things to do! It lets me get away from the stress, anxiety & emotional mess I have in my mind. Even if I visit a place I've never been to in my town. I especially love going to places that are far away from home. For example, London. I live quite far away from London and so when I go there, I don't know anyone there! And I love it.
I have a list of all of the places I want to visit in the future. Some I'm already planning going to! Here is my list:

1. New York, USA ♥

One of my dreams was always to go to New York. I'm not really sure why. Ever since I was 10 I've always wanted to go there. So many beautiful high building, ahh. I can't wait till I go there. One day.

2. Paris, France ♥

Who doesn't want to go to Paris? It is such a beautiful, romantic & historical city. Hopefully I will be going  there next year with my best friend.

3. Rome, Italy

This isn't on my 'absolute top list', but I think Rome would be a really beautiful city to visit. And I am pretty sure the food there is amazing. The language and the culture, all so fascinating!

4. Rio De Janeiro, Brazil

This. Beach. Looks. Amazing. And the view! Quite far away from England, but hopefully someday I will visit this beautiful beach!

5. Lisbon, Portugal

My parents have visited Portugal around 3 years ago, and from the photographs I have seen that they took, it looks absolutely amazing. Colourful buildings, a clear ocean, small allyways, just incredible!

Thank you a lot for reading. I really truly hope I visit these places in the future. I love travelling, and I hope you do too! Anyway, I will talk to you next time. Bye!

How to have clear skin ♥

Hello ♥

So you're wondering how to have clear skin with no zits, pimples, blemishes, redness, and so on? In this blog post I will give you a couple of tips & tricks on how to do that. I've read a lot of articles, blog posts, books, etc. on how to maintain clear skin so I will try to convey my knowledge from my brain to yours!

1. Drink Water
I know you've probably heard this step a milion times, but honestly from experience, it really works. Me personally, I never get thirsty, like ever. And you might think that that's great. But it's not, I get headaches all the time, I get dizzy, I never go to the toilet (I could pee only once in a day if I wanted to) etc. This also includes my nails, they break all the time. My hair gets greasy a day after I wash it. My skin is bad, I get spots & pimples. Water solves everything, it makes you feel a whole lot better! Drinking at least 5 glasses a day helps you to keep hydrated and healthy. This means less spots :)

2. Avoid Certain Type of Foods
Oily foods such as chips (or fries), pizza, lasagna, cheeseburgers, etc. will give you spots! So try and avoid them. I know it's hard, but like the same with water, it'll make you feel so much better. If you avoid these oily foods you will have a lower chance of getting acne, spots and also oily skin. Also try to limit your sugar intake everyday. For example, instead of taking 2 sugars in your tea or coffee, take 1. Instead of having a whole packet of haribo's, eat a half. Sugar causes inflammation in the body, which causes breakouts.

3. Exercise daily (outside)
If you are lazy like me, you will find this difficult, especially everyday! But this will help because if you sit all day on your computer on Facebook or Tumblr, you're not letting your skin breathe in the fresh air, and so it produces nasty spots. Eww. So make sure you go out everyday, and let your skin refresh and breathe a little. It also let's you breathe! On sunny days, going outside is a must. The sun really cleans your skin and clears all your spots. In the summer I usually have really good skin because I love to tan my face in the sun! The sun also makes everyone smile :)

4. Clean your skin in the morning + night
After I eat breakfast, I brush my teeth and then clean my whole face with a toner. This just makes my skin feel fresh and it gets rid of all the nasty bacteria that was on it at night. I do the same at night before I go to bed. I clean off all of my makeup with the toner, and then I wait for it to dry and after, use a face cream. This really helps, it makes you feel fresh & healthy, and it also get's rid of all of the bacteria on your face! You can also try the vapour method, where you get a wet towel (luke warm water) and place it on your face for around 15 mins. This may not work for everyone, but it's worth a try!

5. Makeup isn't necessary
Don't feel like you have to wear a lot of makeup. Maybe, makeup is what is causing all of your spots! Don't apply foundation, concealer, powder, bronzer, blush, etc. if you're skin is looking really good. Even if it looks bad and you're having a breakout, try to refresh your face with wearing no makeup for a day or two. Especially if you're staying at home for the whole day and not going out, whats the point in putting makeup on and wasting it just to look good, even though no body is there to see it anyway?! There is no point. Don't cover up all of your pores and spots, let them breathe a bit.

The most important steps are the 3 top ones. Drink water, avoid certain types of foods & exercise daily, and in 2 months you will see the massive difference. Try this, and I promise you, you won't be disappointed. Just give it a go, and let me know what you think in the comment below! ♥

Summer Lookbook

Hello

This is my third blog post and I didn't know what it should be about. But then I thought about it and well what's popular in June, July and August? The weather! The first day of Summer will on the the 21st of June (2014) and so, I decided that I'd do a Summer Lookbook so you could take some inspiration from me for what to wear in the pretty summer days☺

My camera is in England so I'm really sorry about the bad quality of photos! (I had to use webcam)

Cute knitted & cute denim - Crop top and shorts combination

A blue crop top and high wasted shorts. The crop top is from H&M and the shorts are from a charity shop in Brighton. I really like this combination because the high wasted shorts do cover up a lot of your stomach, but you can still see a bit of it because of the crop top! This outfit would be great for the beach, or just if you're going out on a really hot day.
(top from: H&M, shorts from: a charity shop)

This crop top is made out of a really thick material, almost like it was knotted. I love how the colours go from light to dark! I bought it for £3! What a bargain.

All things pretty & all things floral - Summer dress

I don't really wear dresses, but I loooove this one. It's so floral and pretty. Perfect for the beach. This is my absolute must for the summer! The company that made this dress is 'Mimi Chica' but I'm pretty sure I bought it in TK Maxx.
(dress from: TK Maxx)

This is a closer shot, so you can see the floral patterns. If you're wondering if I did anything to my hair, the answer is no. This is my natural hair :)

Cute & stylish cold nights - Sweater and formal trousers

The reason I picked out this particular combination is because I simply love the colours. The jumper has coral colours, coral cream, white, light red, dark blue. The trousers are totally grey, just not a dull grey, a pretty grey. This outfit is great for colder nights, or formal days. Whether you're going to a business meeting, or to a barbaque at night where the sun is already set, this outfit is perfect.
(sweater from: Tesco, trousers from: H&M)

I added a cute necklace but it's totally optional! This particular necklace is so in fashion right now and I love it. It's close to the neck, it almost looks like a tattoo. I actually bought mine on Ebay for £3. You can find the link to the Amazon one here.

Cute fake leather flats - Shoes

I have chosen one pair of shoes that will go with every outfit. These are brown fake leather flat shoes. I'm not sure what they're called. I really love them, apart from the fact that I have to wear plasters whenever I want to wear them, they give me blisters like mad!
(shoes from: TK Maxx)

So that's all! Thanks a lot for reading and I hope you take some inspiration from me :)

My Ring Collection

Hello ♥

I am a complete ringaholic (is that even a word?!) and so today I decided to show you my ring collection. These are not all of my rings, I have a couple more, but these are just my favourites.

I will show you a few photos that I have taken, but for most of these rings I don't know where I bought them, or my mum gave them to me so I won't be able to say where I got them from. Sorry :(

All of these rings are either from Poland, from my mum or from when I was little. I love them all, but my favourites are the two on the left. The moonstone and the turquoise rings. I know that the turquoise one I bought in Camden, London (in one of the markets). Thank you for reading!

[TAG] 6 Products I Can't Live Without!

Hello ♥

So I have to choose 6 products that I can't live without,... hmm... easy!
I don't use a lot of products anyway, so I can easily pick 6. So let's get started!
So numer 1 is --> Hair & Shoulders Shampoo! I know it may sound a bit lame, but I honestly cannot live without this product! I personally have very bad dandruff and this shampoo helps me a lot. If I use any other shampoo I automatically get dandruff again and my hair itches and looks horrible. (I don't have head lice, if you're wondering). It's an amazing product and I can't live without it!

Number 2 is --> Pichtowy Antybakteryjny Krem Nawilzajacy. You're probably thinking "What the heeeeell is that?", well it's a Polish face cream. My type of skin is really bad, oily and dry at the same time. And I have been looking for a good face cream for years & years. And this is it. I also use a toner from this company and it works brilliantly. The company uses very natural resources and the name 'Pichtowy' is actually the name of a tree - so as you can tell, it's very natural. It doesn't contain alcohol or anything like that. Without this cream I'd probably still be looking for a really good fac cream that doesn't give me a rash, spots or red blemishes!

Number 3 is --> Bourjois Paris Healthy Mix Correction Concealer. This stuff is just amazing. This is probably the first ever concealer I have ever bought, but, it's bloody amazing. (I sound so British, ha!) I only apply this after I've applied foundation and before I have applied powder. It has very good coverege and it's neither thick or powedery - it's just the perfect consistancy!

Now numer 4! --> EcoTools Angled Eyeliner Brush. I know this brush is supposted to be used for eyeliner, but instead I use it for my eyebrows! This brush is the perfect shape to use for my eyebrows and it's flat and not bushy so it's just perfect! I think the brand 'EcoTools' is just amazing itself. I have a couple of brushes from their company, I have  an eyeshadow brush, a concealer brush, a blush brush and of course this one! It's really nice and soft and I don't know what I would use if I didn't have this!

Number 5 is --> EOS Lipbalm. I know, I know. This product is probably over-rated, but I really truly love it! It keeps my lips moisturized, maybe not for long, but at least it does for some time! It's very creamy, thick and smells absolutely amazing. I have mine in 'Mint' and I am seriously obsessed with the smell of it. One thing I hate about it is that they only sell these in the USA and Canada. I got mine because my friend went to America for a holiday and she brought a couple of these back with her, and so she was selling them in school. I wish they sold them in the UK!

And finally, number 6 --> Mitchum deodrants. These products have literally saved my life. I tend to sweat a lot (embarrising to post on the internet, I know) and I've looked everywhere for good deodrants. These are really great, I still sweat but not as much when I wear them. I use the wet roll on first, and after use the original deodrant, and it works amazingly!
So that's it. These products are my absolute needs. I just want to say, I have saved these images from the internet so I have not taken them myself. Thanks a lot for reading and I will see you next time!
